Our company was entrusted with the construction of the first owner-occupied facility in Greece for Raben Group, one of Europe’s leading logistics providers.
Delivered as a turnkey project in the Sindos industrial area of Thessaloniki, the development comprised a 1,200 m2 two-storey office building and a 4,200 m2 steel-frame warehouse facility, including an 850 m2 temperature-controlled cold storage chamber. The surrounding 20,000 m2 site was specifically designed and developed to accommodate the operational requirements and heavy traffic loads of logistics vehicles and truck fleets.
Prior to the commencement of construction works, our team carried out a comprehensive geotechnical investigation and implemented ground improvement measures through a preload embankment system combined with vertical wick drains, ensuring the long-term stability and performance of the site.
Beyond the construction phase, our company was also responsible for the adaptation and detailed engineering of the design to ensure full compliance with the stringent technical standards and operational requirements applied by Raben across its European facilities. This included the complete fire protection design, developed in accordance with NFPA standards, featuring a dedicated 1,000 m³ fire water storage tank and associated firefighting infrastructure.
The successful delivery of this project demonstrates our capability to execute complex logistics and industrial developments while meeting the demanding specifications of international clients and global operators.
